1. Data Controller
MSP Licensing acts as the data controller for customer portal, checkout, billing and provisioning information. Privacy questions can be sent to support@msplicensing.com.
2. Personal Data We Collect
When you purchase licensing, we collect details necessary to provision your software tenants and process billing:
- Contact Person Full Name
- Work Email Address
- Company Name & Target Domain
- Business Phone Number
- Sector & Company Size details
- Order, payment, subscription and provisioning status
- Essential authentication and security records, including session, IP address and browser information
3. Lawful Basis for Processing
We process registration details on the lawful basis of performance of a contract to establish and provision your licences. Billing information is processed securely by Stripe to execute card charges.
4. Data Processor & Third Parties
We share relevant details with upstream providers strictly to initialize services:
- Stripe: Acts as our secure payment gateway processor. We do not store card details on our servers.
- Kaseya/Datto Inc: Receives your company name and domain to create licensing tenants.
- Resend: Used to dispatch transaction notifications and provisioning SLA reminders.
- Vercel: Hosts and protects the web application.
- Neon: Hosts the encrypted-in-transit portal database.
5. Retention & Rights
We retain customer and subscription information while the account is active and for the period reasonably required for billing, disputes, fraud prevention, tax and accounting obligations. Authentication codes expire after use or after their short validity period.
Under UK data protection law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal information, and to request a portable copy where applicable. Send a request to support@msplicensing.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
6. Cookies and Security
The portal uses essential, secure authentication cookies to keep signed-in sessions working and to protect account actions. We do not currently use advertising or behavioural analytics cookies.
We use access controls, encrypted HTTPS connections, signed Stripe webhooks, server-side validation and audit records to protect customer information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so customers should contact us promptly if they suspect unauthorised account activity.
